By
adding an optional COMMANDMIC® (HM-127), nearly every
function of the IC-M402 and the IC-M502 (except DSC
operation), or the IC-M602 (except DSC operation and Hailer
mode) can be controlled from remote locations, such as from
the deck or flybridge. With slim dimensions, the COMMANDMIC®
fits in your palm comfortably and with the sizable LCD,
allows you to control most functions of the main unit except
DSC operation and Hail function. You can talk with the main
unit as an intercom. 19.8 ft of extension cable is attached
to the unit. Equivalent to JIS grade 7 waterproof construction.

With the IC-M602 you may plug in up to
two COMMANDMICs®. It's like getting three radio stations
and intercom points!
