The Inmarsat satellite communications
network is the backbone for two-way voice, fax and data
services for aircraft operating virtually anywhere in the
world. By using Inmarsat consortium partners, Satcom Direct's
patented technology makes the complex Inmarsat network global
and user friendly.
Various Inmarsat ground
earth stations support different services. Based on these
services, customers will have operational problems if their
satcom system is not configured to match the Inmarsat ground
earth station capabilities. Satcom Direct configures each
satcom system to match the Inmarsat service to assure reliable
global mobile to fixed and fixed to mobile communications.
The INMARSAT Fleet
F77 Users can choose full
ISDN channel capability of 64kbps for high-speed data transfers
or packet data with a shared 64kbps channel for applications
like Web browsing and e-mail. Accessing web applications
using satellite communication systems is easy, dependable
and fast.
The two new members of the
family, Fleet F55 and Fleet F33, also offer global ship-to-shore
communications but with the benefit of reduced-size antennas
and above-deck equipment, making them ideal for medium to
smaller vessels.
Features:-
