Complementing the existing AVIATOR SwiftBroadband portfolio, the AVIATOR Wireless Handset has been specifically designed for in-flight communications, offering users a range of advanced features, neatly packaged within an easy-to-use and stylish unit.
Anyone aboard the aircraft can use the AVIATOR Wireless Handset to make and receive in-flight calls. The handset’s innovative features include echo and noise cancellation to ensure unmatched audio quality. The unit’s highly intuitive user interface, tactile controls and a 2.2” TFT colour screen, offer a design similar to that of cell or mobile phones, making it exceptionally easy for users to operate.
The handset connects through a wireless access point to the aircraft’s AVIATOR SwiftBroadband system for users to make calls over the IP based network. The solution is charged with a purpose-built battery charging cradle, installed in the aircraft cabin and powered by the aircraft’s own power supply. When fully charged via the cradle, the handset is able to remain charged in standby mode for over 24 hours.
