The SAILOR Fleet55 communications terminal offers high-speed and cost effective voice and data communication in a compact package. With high quality audio, e-mail and Internet it provides ocean-going vessels with all modern communication options. In a made-for-the-sea construction.
The SAILOR Fleet55 terminal acts as a hub for all your communication needs. Connect desktop phones, payphones, DECT phones and fax machines or add an IP router to integrate the vessel with onshore management systems or provide e-mail and Internet. The system is simple to configure via user friendly software on a standard PC.
Cost-efficient data transfer
The SAILOR Fleet55 offers 64 kbps data transfer via either MPDS or ISDN. With MPDS (Mobile Packet Data Service) you are charged for the amount of data you send or receive. With ISDN charges are per minute. MPDS is the most economic and convenient solution for e-mail, small and medium size file transfer, LAN, VPN and Internet. ISDN provides a high capacity channel with a constant data stream and is usually preferable for up- or downloading large files.
Reliable and easy to maintain
The SAILOR Fleet55 operates through the established network of Inmarsat and GPS satellites, including the new I4 satellites. The Inmarsat Fleet services are known for fast and reliable transfer of information, 24 hours a day. The compact antenna is 68 cm high, has a diameter of just 57 cm and weighs only 18 kg.
