The
VHF for coastal areas
The SAILOR A1 VHF comes
in two versions: SAILOR RT4800 VHF and SAILOR RT4801 VHF
DSC (Class D). Both versions are developed to increase safety
and ease communication for all kinds of vessels –
from leisure boats, work boats and fishing vessels to cargo
ships or cruise liners. The compact transceiver can be put
aside and only the combined control unit / handset needs
a visible space on the bridge. The system can be operated
with as many as seven handsets providing a very flexible
solution. The system also works as an on-board intercom,
allowing communication between two or more handsets. An
external loudspeaker and a waterproof handset for secondary
positions can be connected.
